Overview

Troop 9 invites all scouts for an action-packed Adventure Challenge Weekend, where teamwork, leadership, and outdoor skills will be put to the test! Scouts will compete in a series of survival challenges, earn merit badges, and enjoy classic campfire traditions under the stars.

Friday, April 19 – Arrival & Camp Setup

🏹 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Scout Skills Tournament (Orienteering, Axe-Throwing, and Archery)
🌲 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM: Team Obstacle Course & Capture the Flag

βœ… Patrol Cooking Competition – Scouts will cook their best campfire meal, judged on creativity & taste.
βœ… Survival Relay Challenge – Teams will compete to see who can set up a shelter, start a fire, and navigate the fastest!
βœ… Outdoor Skills Merit Badges – Scouts can work towards their Wilderness Survival, Orienteering, and First Aid merit badges.
βœ… Spirit of Scouting Award – The scout who best demonstrates leadership and teamwork throughout the weekend will receive a special recognition.
